I got a lovely email yesterday from a "fan" of my Girl in Melbourne photo blog. It always makes me happy to hear from people who like my blogs.
He's from England. I know the internet is not really a novelty these days, but it still gives me a little buzz to know someone on the other side of the world is looking at a photo I took - and keeps coming back to look at more.
Although I started the blog for my own enjoyment, getting positive feeback does make it more rewarding.
Shortcut
I have lived in this building for nearly five years and yesterday I discovered a new shortcut from Punt Road to my place. Better late than never! What's even more pleasing is that it cuts out the worst of the hill.
